Graduated and got an offer to work in the UK
Panissara Bunhawan (N’Bamboo)
Graduated from The University of Northampton TOP 50 best Universities in England Faculty : BA (Hons) Business & Management (second class honors)

Why did you choose to study at Finn?

I choose to study at Finn because the learning system and courses here are more interesting and it allows us, the students, to be creative compared to studying in a university in our country. We get to communicate in English in every courses which is an important skill to get a good job. The lecturers and staff at Finn were doing their best to take care of everything so that we get to learn all the important staff and be ready for our final year. Finn is more like a family, not just an institute.

Which UK university did you choose to study in your final year?

I decided to go to the University of Northampton because many seniors at Finn also went there and I heard that the cost of living is not so expensive. I chose to study Business Management.

How was your final year aboard?

We have classes only 2-3 days a week including seminar for 2 hours and lecture for 2 hours. So, students would spend their time together at the library. The library at Northampton has 2 floors with sources for all the branches. Many students like to do their report here because it opens 24 hours. We have quite a lot of time to do our favorite activities or to join university events. There was a welcoming event to welcome foreign students, Tuesday party which was held every Tuesday with different themes to dress up, for example superhero. It was fun and I really enjoyed my final year there.

Where did you stay when you were in the UK?

I stayed at the university’s dormitory just like the English students so I learned to adjust myself and lived well with students whose cultures are really different from us.

Did you face any problem living in the campus? How did you cope with it?

In the campus, there is a student center where students can ask for help or consult whe n having any problems. There are also the staff who take care of foreign students. The  bank is also in there, so we don’t have to go downtown to do the transaction.

You were an intern in the UK company too, weren’t you?

Yes. The university will help us find a suitable company for an internship. What we have to do is inform them that we would like to join an internship program.

That’s really nice. University of Northampton is one of the UK universities that support foreign students really well. So, what is your plan after you graduate?

I plan to stay here in the UK because I’ve got an offer from 2 companies in the UK. Both have offered a position in marketing which is in my field of study in the faculty of business management.
