Faculty: Business Enterprise (Second Class Honors)

Which university did you graduate from?

I graduated from the faculty of Business Enterprise, University College Birmingham

How was your first two years at Finn?

Finn is always my right answer. The courses and style of learning at Finn encourage us to think and analyse not just memorizing which is an important skill of business management. Also, my language skill, my English is getting better and better during the two years at Finn. The way to create an effective learning is to allow and encourage learners to express their full potential and the lecturers at Finn always do that. They are not only an expert in their field of teaching, they are the teachers who have always tried their best for the benefit of their students. No wonder why our alumni at Finn get a great job and opportunity to be part of many leading organizations both in Thailand and international level.

How was your final year in the UK?

It opens up my world. I get to meet new friends and learn about different cultures from around the world.  I get to experience many interesting ways of managing a business using technology which I have never seen used in Thailand.  I get to explore many new things and ideas that have changed my view and attitude in a positive way. So, I am very lucky, getting to study at Finn, I mean Finn really gives me the opportunity to be at this point. I would not talk much about curriculums and courses at Finn because the license to use academic programs from the British Education Board and  the accredited courses by the British Council for Educational Quality Assessment is already enough to guarantee the quality of the institute, curriculums, lecturers and students here.

How can 2 years at Finn help prepare you for the final year in England?

During the first two year at Finn, we get to adjust ourselves and be familiar with the English education system and learning styles. So when we get there, it takes only a short period of time to adjust, leading to a good academic performance and also a good grade. For me, I went to Birmingham with my classmates from Finn. We support each other and the final year went very smooth and successful.

What do you do right now?

I am the owner and manager of “Augusta Hostel” in Thonglor district. We got an award for the 2017 Best guest review with an average review score of 9.5/10 from Booking.com, the popular hotel booking website. My friends, who also studied at Finn, and I also has a BBQ giant river prawns delivery business (Goong Pao Delivery) which have had sales about 300,000 Baht since the first two months we opened. After I graduated, I participated in the Start Up business plan competition held by Start Up Thailand, NIA and went into the final 10 teams round from 100 teams. The competition was broadcasted on ThaiPBS channel in November, 2017.

Currently, I am a speaker and a judge in events and competitions related to startup for Innovation Office of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang under Startup Thailand Project by NIA.

Last question, what was your secondary school? Where did you drop out from? And why Finn?

I graduated from Amnuay Silpa School. And I had studied at SiiT, Thammasat University for a year before I decided to study at Finn. I think Finn is the best institute who can give the best opportunity for my career path.
